Ms. Deidra Saina earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas and is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas. She has over 24 years of experience working in the family violence field where she has provided trauma-informed advocacy services, clinical treatment and program management support to military and civilian domestic violence and sexual assault agencies.  

From 2011-2021, Ms. Saina was integral in standing up and managing a comprehensive Air Force-wide Domestic Abuse Victim Advocacy Contract for the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) where she was responsible for overseeing, enhancing and directing domestic abuse victim advocacy services at Air Force bases around the world.  In addition, she provided subject-matter expert consultation, policy recommendations, and training to victim advocates, social workers, nurses, and military leadership across the Air Force and the Department of Defense. 

Currently, Ms. Saina is the Program Director at IVA’AL Solutions, LLC, which is a tribally owned SBA certified 8(a) firm. At IVA’AL she oversees one of the largest awarded family violence contracts for the Air Force Family Advocacy Program which includes 187 social workers, nurses, victim advocates, and program assistants at Air Force Bases across the country.
