Our History

IVA’AL Solutions, LLC, is a subsidiary of Santa Rosa Cahuilla Corporation which is wholly owned by the Santa Rosa Band of Cahuilla Indians (Tribe).  The Santa Rosa Indian Reservation is located in the High Desert San Jacinto Mountains in Southern California above Palm Springs.

The Santa Rosa Cahuilla are a non-gaming Tribe, and the location of the Tribe's reservation isolates it from the more traditional business opportunities.  Further, although the Reservation's acreage is significant, the topography is such that little is suitable for other than residential construction, with the possibility of creating a small industrial park for future Tribal enterprises.

For these reasons, the SRCC and IVA'AL were created as the Tribe's economic development activity to become economically self-sufficient through government contracting.  Additional benefits would also extend from the training of and eventual employment of Tribal Members to eventually assume the leadership and management of the tribally owned business entities as well as some privately owned firms.

John V. Meyers, a Tribal Member, past member of the Tribal Council and successful businessman, was identified by members of the Tribal Council to lead the economic development project under the SBA's 8(a) Small Business Development Program.  Mr. Meyers founded a small 8(a) company and took it successfully to graduation.

With contracts already established, IVA'AL is postured to build highly competent contract teams that will secure IVA'AL's reputation as the go-to American Indian-owned 8(a) IT Company on the East Coast.  The Management Team is rich in former business associates, partners, teammates and contacts in the federal contracting offices throughout the Federal Government that will be contacted to reestablish those professional relationships.
